Paul Bradbury studied Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University 1988-91
and qualified with a Fine Art BA (Hons) Degree. He specialised in
printmaking, but also developed an enthusiasm for working with glass
using processes of etching and screenprinting.
The inspiration of glass art in architecture encouraged Paul to develop
his knowledge of working with glass, intergrating methods of fusing, leaded
glass and applied techniques such as sand-blasting and acid-etching.
1993-97 Paul moved to Edinburgh gaining significant experience working for
Christian Shaw Stained Glass Studio and attending a course in Architectural
Glass at Edinburgh College of Art.
Paul has since been employed and sub-contracted to a number of accredited
stained glass studios throughout The UK, assisting major projects in
ecclesiastical stained glass restoration through to contemporary glass art.
Paul Bradbury is now an accomplished glass artist/craftsman, living in
Manchester, specialising in stained glass and art glass in architecture. He
has developed substantial skills and provides from his studio a professional
service in glass design, manufacture, restoration and installation.
